Hello Everyone,

At this time of year we give thanks in many ways and rethink all that is important to us.  The year 2020 may or may not have been one of our better years but at least we are still here to talk about it!  Family and friends may have leaned on us for help, or maybe we have sought them out for support for ourselves.  In any event, we all can appreciate the value of lending a helping hand.

It is for this reason, that the REACMC Executive Committee and our Scholarship Committee are appealing to you to consider helping us with our efforts to assist our County’s 2021 high school graduating seniors with their college studies.  As you are aware, we have given out scholarships in past years funded by your generous contributions.  This year, mostly because we have not been able to hold meetings/luncheons, we are experiencing decreased member donations for this effort.

Please click on the following link to read a creative piece written by Kathy Zeigenfus, Scholarship chairperson, to view her special way of reaching out to you. https://mcusercontent.com/e61473b80026649de34ded190/files/8d0028dd-0ff2-4c0a-abdd-9361e08754af/REACMC_Scholarship_Request_Fall_2020.pdf

Scholarship contributions can be made payable to  ” REACMC Philanthropic Fund” and mailed to our treasurer, Dr. Jeanne Degatano, 681 New England Road, Cape May NJ  08204-4116.   Thank you so much!

May you and your family enjoy togetherness now and as the year comes to its end, whether it be virtual or in-person with precautions!!!  We look forward to the day when we can all get together again in a REACMC reunion meeting!!!

Best wishes, good health, and plenty of sunshine!

Carol Ann McDonald, REACMC President
