Our scholarship applications have been sent to the Guidance Counselors at each of the high schools. Applications for NJREA’s four state scholarships have been sent as well. If you have a relative who is a Senior at one of our high schools, and is college bound, please let him/her know that the applications are available.
A successful Scholarship Program like ours depends on generous contributors like you. Please consider making a donation to this very worthy cause and our committee promises to carefully select the most qualified and deserving students as our recipients. Send donations to:

Retired Educators Association of Cape May
The Retired Educators of Cape May County (REACMC) are sponsoring three (3) $1,000 scholarships, given to Cape May County students planning to enroll in an accredited 2-year community college or a 4-year college or university.
2020 Fred E. Aug 2-year Community College Scholarship Award
This award is for $1,000 for one year (renewable) to a student who will graduate from a New Jersey public high school this year, including vocational-technical and public charter schools and has been accepted to a community college.
2020 Elizabeth A. Allen & Isabelle M. Hickman 4-year College Scholarship Award Application
Each award is for $1,500 for one year (renewable) to a student who will graduate from a New Jersey public high school this year, including vocational-technical and public charter schools. Is in the top five (5%) percent of their graduating class. Has been accepted to a 4-year college.
NJREA is proud to announce the addition of the Walter Krichling, Jr. Scholarship.
This award is for $1,000 for one year (renewable, if applicable) to a student who will graduate from a New Jersey public high school this year, including vocational-technical and public charter schools and has been accepted to a trade school/vocational program to earn certification in a vocational field of work.
